au revoir celebrate...hello balance.

happy 2013!!!

this will mark the last OLW blog hop to close off the year of 2012 and for me the word of celebrate...it is a word that became way more than i had anticipated and therefore, i don´t really want to say goodbye but rather as the French say, au revoir...till i see you again...i know i´ll continue to have lots to celebrate this  year and this word will resonate for a long time to come...here are my final pages in my album...

i added another page protector so i could include my celebrate layout as the very last page in the album...it has been hanging on my scrapbooking room wall all year inspiring me...so i needed to fill up the other side of the protector with something, so i collaged all the little "celebrate" bits i collected during the year...

here's the page that has come off my wall and i shared way back in january...

since this album now houses two years worth of OLW prompts and is full, i decorated the front cover and will call it done...

to be honest i´m a little ¨celebrated out¨...so it´s time to give a big warm hello to my word for 2013...

B A L A N C E

i think after a year of parties, celebrations and major milestones it´s time for a little balance in my life! a balance between work and play, food and exercise, sleep and activity and the list goes on...i need to find a more even keel...when i was trying to find the right word for 2013 i was thinking about the words ¨priorities¨ and ¨less¨...but those felt too restrictive and not positive enough for how i feel i want to move forward and what needs addressing in my life...then i found a stone in a the most unlikely little shop with balance engraved on it and i knew the word had been chosen!!!

but balance doesn´t mean boring and i have a few fun new regular blog posts that i will unveil as the month progresses!

i am very sad that there won´t be any more OLW blog hops for 2013 unless someone takes over from Margie who has been a wonderful host and organizer of the hop all year...should anywone assume this task for 2013, i am in as a participant for another year!! thanks so much Margie for all your dedication and hard work...you can continue on this month´s hop by visiting Margie´s blog for the complete list since i am having major computer issues today!!
